Polished plaster
What is Venetian plaster?
Venetian plaster, also called polished plaster, is a traditional Italian finish made from plaster and marble dust. It is applied by trowel in several thin layers and then burnished, giving a smooth surface with a real sense of depth and texture.
The result can be a hard-wearing, marble-like finish that is easy to wipe clean. It works especially well where marble panels would be difficult or too costly to install, such as columns, corbels and curved walls. It is increasingly popular in commercial properties, and we also apply it in homes, where it makes a striking feature wall or entrance hall.
Using specialist tools, materials and techniques, we create custom finishes and bespoke colours to suit your space, including gloss, silk, matt, smooth, stone and marble effects.
